Instructions for Glow in the Dark Slime

  2. Fill the empty glue bottles with warm water and shake them.
  3. Pour this water into the bowl and stir with a spoon.
  4. Add the neon food coloring to the mixture.
  5. Add the glow in the dark paint to the mixture and stir.
  6. In the second bowl, mix together the ½ cup of warm water and 1 tsp of borax or saline solution.
  7. Now mix this borax or saline solution water with the glue and stir with a spoon. If need be, use your hands to make sure the mixture is mixed together properly.

The Secret Ingredient

The borax or saline solution is the ingredient that makes the glue turn into the slime. In order to obtain the correct consistency, you may have to experiment with the amount of borax or saline solution that you use. So, for example, if you like your slime to be runny, then don’t use too much borax solution or saline solution. Also, when you first begin to mix the borax or saline solution into the glue you will notice that the slime will be a strange, runny texture but this is normal. The more that you handle the slime, the better the consistency will become.

Get Sparkly

If you want to make your glow in the dark extra special then consider using glitter glue. You will be able to see the specks of glitter shine in the glow in the dark slime. You may find that the slime mixture turns into a milky color when you use glitter glue and it may not be the normal color that it usually is.
