To prepare the valentine slime, you will simply need:
- Elmer’s Glue
- Heart confetti
- Liquid starch
- Red and/or pink glitter
- Large container for mixing
Step 1: Mix in the same amount of water and glue in a bowl.
Step 2. And then it’s time to make some love! Pour in the glitter and heart confetti. It depends on you if you want to use either red or pink glitter.
Step 3. Add liquid starch little by little while stirring to mix well. Watch as the slime slowly forms. Once doable, you can knead the slime with your hands.
Step 4. Tada! The slime is now ready! Put it on a plate or a covered container. Or you can also play with it right away!
If you want to give the valentine slime as a gift, you can put it in small mason jars, add a tag and tie it with twine.

Tips in preparing the Valentine Slime
*You may use contact lens solution instead of liquid starch as your activator. However, just make sure that it contains boric acid and sodium borate to be able to form some slime.
*Water makes the slime stretchier. You can keep adding even up to 1 cup.
*If you want to give out the slime in jars, it is best to include a note that it is homemade and list the ingredients to warn users of any allergic reactions it might have on them.
*Remember that when you add color to white glue, the mixture will be a shade lighter. You may use a clear glue for jewel-like colors.
