Food coloring
Glitter of choice

Glitter Slime Instructions

Step 1: Mix 1/2 cup glue and 1/2 cup water thoroughly in large mixing bowl. Pour the water into the bowl, then pour the glue into the water and stir vigorously.
Step 2: Add food coloring and glitter at this point. You can use any color of food dye, and any type of glitter or confetti. You could also add small shapes, toys, or beads to add texture and color.
Step 3: Pour 1/2 cup liquid starch into the glue mixture. The slime will immediately start to form and thicken. The slime will quickly be so thick you will not be able to mix it with a spoon.
Step 4: Knead the thick slime with your hands until the majority of the liquid is mixed into the slime. Make sure to work through any lumps to completely combine the ingredients. You want a smooth consistency when finished.
Step 5: Store your slime in a clean, dry container. Your slime is finished! It is ready to be played with as soon as it is finished but will change consistency slightly after it has settled for half and hour or so. Even when left partially uncovered, this slime will stay good for at least one week (and often up to a month!).

Now, you are ready to play! We hope you enjoyed this recipe. It is a quick and easy way to make a wide variety of glitter slimes for kids to play with. It is non-toxic, vibrant, sparkly, and fun, and will provide hours of entertainment for your kids. Enjoy!
